Man, I have just been having one steamrolled time lately. I figured I'd groan about it here, so feel free to share your gripes too. A warning for death.

I've gone back to school after a year abroad, and I am so out of practice in writing essays, doing reading, going to class, was it always this much effort? Or am I just over loaded XD I can't tell. I also picked up as a trainer at my local barn, so I have 3 students that I work with on the weekend. They are great kids, but I work that I don't know as much as I think I know and I'll mess up somehow. Two of them have progressed to a little bit of trot, and one is working on canter, so it's so fun to see kids learning a new skill and improving all the time.

And then, in October, I lost 3 family members within 2 weeks of each other. I lost my 15 year old cousin to suicide first. Less than a week later, my Grandma passed in her sleep. It still shocks me that she's really dead. A week and a half later, her brother and my great-uncle passed. October was a rough month. It was my 7 year anniversary with my partner, but I was out of town for the funeral and we never got around to celebrating. Not that I was in the mood for it. But thankfully, at the end of October my sister had her daughter without any issues.

This has gotten long enough, but today, when we were going to get together as a family for the first time since last Christmas, and I was going to meet my new baby niece, her family has all come down with a fever. Also my car is apparently not mine, according to the dealership, my computer has split into two pieces and won't get repaired for another 2 weeks, I had a migraine and slept through my barn duties, and I have 3 books to read by next Monday.

It will all be fine eventually, but it does feel good to complain and get it off my chest, so thank you for giving me space to do that here!
