Tiger eye 1 vs 2?
-
I have a question about tiger eye. I know homozygous makes a dramatic color change, but is there a difference is horses that are TE1/TE1 versus TE1/TE2 ? I’m working on a stallion for my breeding program and I’m wondering what to put on him. He’s TE1 heterozygous already. My (hopeful) goal is for him to have gold eyes (or something similar)
Here’s my favorite boy below! I regret not making him homozygous for phantom skull in October hahaha

Also sorry for the post- if I was normal, I could look it up, but I’m blind! So I can’t tell the difference myself. My vision is limited to a very small window and even within that, it’s too blurry to see it. The pony photos eyes are too small for me to make it out :) thank you for your help!Continuing my reign as the most annoying player on the forums and hgg’s favorite butch lesbian cowboy

TE1 and TE2 are, functionally, the same. One is more rarer in random creates I think? But they do the same job. At least at the moment they do, if it is discovered that one has a different effect then there will be a change, but that is science that has not happened yet.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Thank you for your help! I will probably put TE1 homozygous on him in case we find out TE2 does some different interaction in the future. I love how this game is constantly evolving with science, it makes it such a blast to play.Continuing my reign as the most annoying player on the forums and hgg’s favorite butch lesbian cowboy

Oh yes! Like the new belton spots being implemented, wild bay having a do-over, and tobiano and grey having new updated image generations (at least within the last two years).Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Te2 is rarer but the study that found them found no difference. There is no reason to think how it works would ever change.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
