    I have this boy, for whom I bought a Phantom Lace gene:

    I now have a couple of his babies that tested better than his "C" rating. Not sure whether I should sell him or not, if so, how do I determine a price for a genetically modified horse? If not, should I geld him or just keep him intact? I'm having fun making pretty horses and playing and learning with the genetics, but apparently I'm otherwise clueless ;-)
    Thank you for any suggestions or guidance!

    I would absolutely keep any foundation stallions that are modified!

    His price if you chose to sell him would be quite high. If I were you I would keep breeding my foundation (yellow) mares to him and keep him around for that and maybe sell straws.

    His babies should paper higher than a C but that doesn't take anything away from him!
