I bought two copies of the Phantom Autumn gene for my appy mare, but it's not showing up, even after I regenerate the image.

I think Appaloosa hides most, if not all of the Phantom genes.

Phantom Autumn will add falling leaf patterns around the edges of any KIT, Splash, or Frame markings. It also hides a leaf texture to colored coat areas. It requires only one copy to show.Available for purchase in November and October only.

That top one is really beautiful! I have a tobiano mare but no matter how many times I pay to get her a new image, it never really shows. A little on her legs is all, more like splash. I don't know why it won't show more.

If your mare doesn't have the genes for more white then regenerating the image won't change anything. You could use a GMT and try increasing her White Factor in the lab.

Tobiano and W20, with a medium white factor. This one has jellyfish and puddles rather than autumn (she also has ink spot), but you can see the difference homozygous Kit genes and a larger white factor makes.
Phantom genes will not work with roan, appy, or rabicano.

If you are getting into the phantom genes, let me also add a note of caution about combining phantoms with KP2. KP2 modifies the edges of white markings, making them sort of fuzzy. Here are two examples of horses with phantom ghosts, the draft has KP2 and the warmblood does not. If you like it, great! Not a favorite for me though LOL

You can GMT a kit gene onto her and, if you're not attached to the appy, remove the lp and they should show up brilliant. If you're lacking funds, I'm more than willing to buy a horse for however much it would take. Or you can send her to me with a list of mods you want done and I'll do them for you, though this way is discouraged I believe :)

ETA: This is my chat. If you want you can put a horse (any old generic one will do) up for the amount it'll cost for gmts to fix her your way or you can pop the mare in for 1hb with a list and I can use my gmts to fix her up and transfer her back to you for the same :)
