How to Decide
-
Ok, so I joined the game in 2017 and then real life caught up with me and I didn't really have a chance to play. How do you all decide on which foals to keep? Do you keep them all and show them? How do you decide who to spay/geld? I'm so indecisive that I really want to know what other people do so I can try to make decisions. Otherwise I'll just keep not selling anything lol

Welcome back! I'm perhaps not the best person to answer, but I keep everything. Occasionally I'll sell an individual to someone looking for a specific type, but I keep everything. I just let the SBA alter what needs it and everyone I don't use just sits in barns and *fingers crossed* makes money :)

I keep almost everything--depending on barn space. I try to end a season with every one of my stall spots filled with a horse, showing or breeding (more showing than breeding, though).
In terms of who I keep for breeding, it depends how they fit into my goals. I look for a certain paper level and PT score depending on the parents, and I also look for certain genes. If a foal misses too much, they get the snip and moved to a show barn.ID# 25784 -
thanks for the info. i was wondering the same thing.

Thanks guys, I'm thinking I best just keep adding more stalls then. If nobody else cuts horses out then neither will I XD
