New player - need help about candy?
-
Hi I just started playing, got a candy horse from the create a horse menu and it says I can trade the candy effect for a GMT. How worth-it are GMTs?
-
In my opinion, and that of every established player (I'm guessing lol), GMTs are very worth it. There are many things you can do with them, such as:
Boost a foal to become the max quality both parents can produce. This means if you get a lovely looking foal who isn't good enough to pass your benchmarks or is altered by BA/SBA, you can boost them to potentially shoot over it.
Unalter a horse you have bred
Change the bone weight (draft, warmblood, etc), height, gender, etc of a horse
Change the colour of a horse. Like make a chestnut horse black, add in cream or some fancy gene like satin, etc etc.
GMTs are quick often the backbone of new lines, as trying to get what one thinks is a perfect horse to start it can be impossible without them. Lined horses can only be gmted within the scope of their parents though. So if you bred two black horses together (E aa) you cannot gmt the foal to be bay (E A) because neither parent carried it. Foundations you can gmt any colour on or off. Check out the Gene Mod Treatment lab under Advanced Features, you don't need an upgrade to use it~
You can buy gmts with HBs/game money, under the "Upgrade for HBs" button. It costs 10IVs for 1 gmt, so about 125,000HBs.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
Prices are almost always negotiable.
