During the stained glass event I picked up Inkspot and Toner on a handful of mares. They got bred to my BlackIce line and while the resulting foals were pretty, they weren't what I want for BlackIce going forward. So right before the event ended, I added Inkspot and Toner to this boy.

He's still missing something and while I've narrowed it down, I need some help.

I'm having difficulty deciding between the following as front runners:
Ice 1
Ice 3
Ice 4
Phantom Lace

I'm also considering:
Ice 2
Ice 8
Ice 11

I want something more subtle that won't dominate over the rainbow riot genes. Thoughts?

Well the ice genes won’t come out until December. The lace won’t come back until February. However if you don’t mind waiting I personally like Ice 3 and 4.

I personally really like DFP2 and 1 for adding spice without dominating. All my horses are chinchilla too.

I don't mind waiting for genes to come back around. Honestly the mares will probably stay with the BlackIce line until the new boy is finished.

@blaxkdiamond I hadn't considered DFP but it definitely looks very nice!

Here's my foals from this season...I really like the Ice 16 combo, but don't want 2 very similar looking lines. I like the distinction of doing something different.

I have Ice 2, 4 and Lace on my NEED list. :D
I think i4 would be amazing.

Like @BlaxkDiamond suggested, DFP 1+2 are a nice touch to Rainbow genes.
I love them. Also expensive to start out that line with HOM stock. I have a Toner
stud with Dpf1/2 and threw i16 on. It's pretty, but can be distracting (for me at least).
(also learned Silver can mute DPF at times.) That I don't mind. Still amazing to me.

I am attempting to try and slide in more stock with HOM kit to give the RR genes a boost.
But white factor is also not everyone's cup of tea. I want LisaFrank vibes from my horses. :))
