Having trouble making purchases

My birthday is tomorrow and my sister got me a $50 Visa gift card to use in the game. I have been trying for two hours to get it to work, but PayPal will not accept it as a payment method for game purchases. I registered it online and checked the balance, everything seems fine there… any ideas what I am doing wrong?

What kind of Visa? Is it from visa directly or from a secondary company? Some companies just don't want to authorize payments for online stuff.Need to contact me? Read this first.
