The new user experience is more intuitive than it was when I first started on haj, having a higher point system for new creates with rewards for holding a larger number of points helps a ton right off the bat to making a sustainable showing herd.

The more in depth explanations are also wildly helpful, I logged in quite often and have a fairly booming herd including knowing how to accurately price pointed creates (esp RS’s) that I don’t plan on keeping is probably my second favorite thing overall- I remover selling some horses with no idea of how to price with previous accounts simply because I either decided on a breeding goal or simply didn’t prefer the looks etc of the horse.

I love the changes that have been made, y’all are doing an awesome job. The only thing I think might help new players maybe is an achievement to thank/interact with a forum post aside from the welcome one- before really getting into the game I didn’t utilize the forum very well and I think I learned the most on interacting on it during my first Gift Exchange season- looking at breeding and sales adds, finding elves, and combing through the hh shares for specific ones to find gifts really taught me a ton about the forum. I had understood it as a place to come and chat maybe and see the announcement posts but not in depth for gameplay or general threads on interesting things, contests, or things like saddle sisters- they are well labeled on the main forum hub but I think when I first did the welcome achievement I went straight to my peer group and then back to main haj.

Thank you for the experience y’all and I think I’m keeping this puppet turned real player ;) because I’m super excited about what I’ve gotten started up! (yay for dedication to breeding goals)
