I popped over here from Mesa for this (JessicaMDensmore03048, ID 4819.)

First thing I noted was just how much easier everything was with the knowledge of what to do. Using mistakes I made with my Mesa and all the various accounts I've had and left over the years, I was able to pretty quickly get a LOT of money.

As much as I didn't initially *love* having my pointed creative cash cow shut down, it was definitely a good plan. I had the Basic Upgrade and a barn or two very quickly. I still had pointed creates left to get me to the cut off point.

However, without the pointeds to make, I quickly lost interest, beyond the June Herd Helpers, which I did forget a few of them, because I honestly just sorta forgot this account for a few days. With all the show ponies its a lot harder to keep space for breeding horses. With 120 extra stalls (One 30, One 90 stall barn) both are filled with show ponies and a good chunk of my primary barn is filled with them, even with the extra stalls from the achievements. I made a Hidden Gates stud and quite a few mares, but didn't breed a ton, in part at least, due to the limited space. I currently have the funds to purchase a new barn, so hopefully next season I can breed more.

I am finding its harder to set goals. On my Mesa account I've got several lines that do a bit of everything and quite a few GMT studs, a couple GMTd mares and a show herd that is starting to really work for me. I'm finding it more difficult to set a goal from scratch and work to it, with all the possibilities and options. I'm trying to stay open minded and expand a bit from what I do on Mesa. Though this particular one is not at all anything the game can do, that's just my brain, I thought it was an interesting thing I noted while playing.

I am noticing that my pointed creates aren't nearly as effective as my older lined horses on Mesa, but they're definitely easier. I think it'd be great to have a more comprehensive guide on showing. What, why, how.

Right now I plan to let this account build revenue so I can get a few more barns and really get into breeding. However, if I didn't have my main account, I'd probably forget about the game and quit, after some time of not being able to produce cute babies or being limited in what I can produce. Honestly, same problem arises with breeding in the first week and then not being able to again until the next month. There really isn't a great solution for this. Another issue is not being able to breed my babies for 3-4 months. However, on my established account this couldn't work better. It's a great system, but the problem comes with short attention spans and instant or fsst satisfaction that a lot of games provide. I absolutely don't believe we should change that, I love how it works, but it is something I've observed a lot, including myself. I had a LOT of accounts prior to settling with my Mesa. I don't remember exactly what kept me stuck to it, but I'm glad I have. As always, I absolutely love the game and the effort thats put into improving on it whenever and wherever possible.

One thing I'd love to see added to the thing that shows your total points and daily payout on the memember home page is a percentage of points and/or payout (or just the actual numbers) that's being earned by spayed/gelded horses. I'd personally be interested in seeing seeing part of the "work" my show herd is doing vs my breeding herd.

Would it be possible to add some kind of new player herd helper system to help build their breeding and show herd? Like for a week or two have exceptional breeders and/or show horses and perfect foundations. Ones that will pass breeding advice and produce well. And some that will help the pointeds be more successful at showing and earning more points. No special genes or anything, just the normal ones, but as a daily thing for the first bit of the game. Maybe more likely to roll them jn the normal daily herd Helper? I'm not 100% on the logistics, but I think something similar would help get a better start.
