    So I'm aware of the changes coming to brown. However, I am also aware of the conversation that Ammit recently had with another member trying to nail a specific shade on a horse, and how in the end the culprit was pangere. Which leads to my question now.

    These two lovely ladies are Cherry Drops. However there is a clear different to me in their coats. Genetically, the only differences between them are one is E/E -/f and the other is e/E p/p. In the brown discussion, EE provides more of a darkening factor to a horse than Ee, which would explain why one horse is...darker? richer? than the other. But I wasn't sure if the changes had started to happen yet.

    There are no changes coming to extension. You are thinking of agouti and that is September. Pangare lightens the coat.
