ChapelHillFarm - What I have Learned

    I am from the Mesa server and have played 6 months over there. This is a different experience for sure. On Mesa, I struggled and held on to the hope I would finally be able to make enough daily hb's to feel comfortable. I had wonderful people help me off and on, because as we all know, this group is wonderful. I am doing great and having fun. So, this is what I've noticed thus far about the new user experience:

    1. The money we make from achievements is blooming awesome. Well done! I do not remember making this much money on my account in Mesa.
    2. The new points we receive for horses is blooming pheonmenal. Wow, this will really help a newbie get started.
    3. The message about how this horse will provide you with show points is very informative. On my Mesa account, this is the ONE thing I wish I had learned earlier. Great job getting the message out.
    4. I was blown away when I created a foal, which was one of the achievements. It had no daily points. Is this how the new user is creating foals, or did I get a real lemon?

    I am still working through this new user experience. So far, two thumbs up!

    Third day and I already have over 200K hb's. I am certain I did not have this money when I started Mesa.

    I have only sold 1 horse, so this income is strictly from the achievements.

    I feel rich! LOL.

    These achievements are fabulous! I am making money just playing. I am up to 500K. Sold just one RS Special. Keeping the rest, for now.

    Auction was difficult with free membership. I couldn't see what I had bid on. I have a premium account on Mesa, so I had not realized this was a standard for free accounts. Although, I realize paying customers need to receive more for their payments.

    I was at the 20,000 mark when it seems the points for the horses is dropping pretty fast. I have several that are fairly low. I may sell those back to the game to make room for a better prospect.

    Signed in for the 5th day and got that achievement. LOVE my pretzel twist draft. :D

    Still logging in every day. Creating RS Specials or any Exceptionally Perfect that I like. Since I purchased a Basic Upgrade, I have a little more room. Still, I trying to make wise choices, because selling them still affects my overall points.

    I am still logging in each day. I have well over 500K. I'm just letting it sit there as my little nest egg. I haven't bred all of the mares. I'd like them to be in the pasture for 30 days. Maybe next season I will breed them.

    Looking forward to selectively picking up some more of the RS Specials. Strawberry Moons are one of my favorites, so I will definitely be getting that one.

    This server is completely different than Mesa. I've only had an account on Mesa, so the prices on the Forest server are completely different. People are still friendly here, although, I do love our Mesa server.

    I also love Mesa but here is a wildly different experience. I learn *so* *much* from this community (and they are so much richer!)

    This has been a great experience. The users that are new will have lots of money and learn very quickly to keep those priceless high pointed show ponies.

    On this account, I've only sold one horse. I have definitely slowed down and not "created" nearly as many horses. I am slowly trying to create a herd of mares and those ever precious show ponies.

    I have decided to keep this little account on here for now. I've enjoyed breeding draft horses instead of my typical warmbloods on Mesa.
