Just need some commiseration
-
I just accidentally spayed (through BA) my two Gold Bootstrap mares :’(
Mildly devastated. Just need some “I did that too and everything turned out okay” commiseration, because I’m sure I’m not the first to have made that mistake. Ugh! -
Oh yeah I think I've definitely done that hundreds of times as well as everyone else!
I don't remember how much it is to unalter but I could probably give you enough to unalter both if you wanted?Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.

I’m pretty sure it’s 1 gmt to unalterMain Account: IslandBreeze

Can you unalter even if they have living foals?
I don’t want you to have to pay for my mistake, as kind as that is HunterUnderSaddleGirl. Thanks for letting me know I’m not the only one, I’m so mad I did it! -
Oof, yes. I do a lot of my testing in my primary barn. As soon as I got my bootstrap foals bred, I move them to another barn so they're not caught up in the mass testing. Otherwise I can lose an entire years worth of breeding for them.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
Prices are almost always negotiable.
On the look out for pointed creates -
I’ve accidentally mass tested so many crops of Bootstrap foals….it’s just autopilot! If you don’t want to pay to unalter, definitely ask in the Bootstrap buddy chat and we will help get you set up with some replacement mares. We have all been there before!
-
Definitely made the same mistake. Now I just put them all in my primary barn, mass test for color, pt, and papers then turn off testing before I forget.
-
Thanks guys, this made me feel a little better. They were gifted to me when I first started a couple months ago, so there’s extra guilt there. Hopefully I can find replacements!
-
In the future when you find a pretty mare try to remember to turn off testing, but I also have lost years of mares cause I wasn't paying attention.45120

I once did that to one of my double boosted mares. :’( luckily Ammit is amazing and helped me out of that debacle. ^_^ but I’ve definitely accidentally done hundreds of bs foals over the years. I use sba to mass create show ponies though.
If you contact the breeder of the horses they might unalter them for you. You can only unalter horses you bred. -
@pestilenttempest they were the 2 ladies you gave me when I first started! Thankfully I still have the BS stud you gave me at least. I definitely thought I had testing off, oops!

Drop them in a chat and I’ll unalter @clicknikstables
