Wow! Being a new player now is way easier and more engaging than it was when I originally started on here. The achievements have nice enough rewards that I'm actually able to do things with the account and I'm adding stalls fast enough that I feel like I already have some room to get a show herd started in my primary barn.

I've maxed out my stalls so I'm going to have to sell off my lower pointed creates. Auction seems like the best option so I won't have barn room to do anything until the end of tomorrow. I'm not sure how other puppet accounts have been able to buy barns or upgrades super quick because while it is certainly easier to be a new member now than it used to be, it isn't that easy. I will still have to wait and save money for awhile before I can afford that stuff which I don't think is a bad thing. Waiting and saving money to grow your barn is pretty realistic.

Things are moving pretty slow at this point because I'm trying to save my money and while I would usually sell my lower point horses, knowing that I cannot create pointed ponies after 100k even if I have sold them makes me nervous. I don't want to sell too many but over half my barn has less than 400k and I feel like they take up a lot of my limited space. I'm not sure if the points still count against me when I sell at auction. I should probably figure that out. I completed one of the accomplishments by buying a higher pt stallion so that when the horses I created this month are old enough to breed I can try bootstrapping. I was never very successful with it on my other account so in a few months I will try again here. But even with the additional accomplishments this is still a slow game that is supposed to just get better over time. I thought I had read that I shouldn't participate in any of the games/giveaways that I did with my other account because this is just a puppet, so I haven't. However if I continue on with this account after this month, I certainly will because it was the way I really learned how awesome the h&j community is. Not sure if it is because there isn't much to do on here yet or because I have one too many accounts now but it feels harder to get a feel for the community aspect of the game. I think I will also probably end up breaking down and investing in at least a basic upgrade. It really does improve the game so much and I appreciate that Ammit offers the special $1.99 deal to get players hooked.

As Ammit says. Or if you do put the horses into the auction and they aren't bought by anyone, then they will no longer count to the 100k points created. That only counts living horses you have created with points. If the horse is not "alive", ie active in the game, then it will not count. I have been auctioning off my lower pointed horses, about 400points and below, and a good half don't get bought.

I love the average sale price that is listed for the rank specials now! It is soooo helpful and when I first started years ago it took me many months to even find that page so it is nice to be directed there when you list a horse for sale. Since it is nearing the end of the month I am trying to get organized so I've been on this account quite a bit today. I would probably be further ahead with my daily payout if I was mass creating, but I've honestly been a bit picky about what I create since I have an idea what breeder clubs I want to be in. Overall I have really appreciated all of the extra incentives and prompts that I have seen this month. The new user experience has definitely improved since I first began years ago and despite already having other accounts I am enjoying this one enough to want to try to keep it going.
