Starstruck's thoughts
-
First of all, I am definitely playing differently than when I was a true newbie, as I have been on H&J since November of last year (much less time than many others here though!). I started this account because I wanted to try and develop a strategy for using the pointed creates to launch as a new player.
I am only two weeks in and I'm wealthier than I ever have dreamed of in this game :)) I have a strategy I am working on but I sometimes get sidetracked by shiny things like GMTing the cute creates I really should be selling and buying tack packs lol. I'll discuss the strategy at the end of this all though and see if it is successful.
Right now I think my biggest question is how I will transition from a ridiculous income to a more normal one in the game once I cross the 20k point limit for good.
Notably, I did have a nice fat lottery win, and I also had a lovely member who bought a bunch of horses from me donate 500k unexpectedly.
My ultimate plan is to merge this account with my other Forest account because I can't manage two on here for long lolAKA Starstruck2 on Bluegrass, ID 275387

The pointed creates bonanza is a great Kickstarter for new members, but it does have the unintended consequence of teaching you to make money from selling horse, something that isn't a sustainable income source later on
It would be super cool if we could offer "mentors" to new members - experienced users who could volunteer to answer questions in messages and offer general guidance. This might help members who feel awkward for a while when they post in the forum. It could be easier to privately message a designated person who you know is there to helpAKA Starstruck2 on Bluegrass, ID 275387
