Yeah the whole minimal interaction we had with him he was acting like a jerk. We had just pulled in. He and two guys came galloping in over and under on all three horses. They came in sweating and out of breath. They all loaded poorly. Wind was knocking trailer door in their face and couldn't figure out why the horses wouldn't go in. He kept yelling "pressure him" "pressure him". And did circles etc. We were plenty far enough way and weren't even in the way of his circling. He quietly said this whole place and you go and park right next to someone! We didn't acknowledge he said that but we did take the horses to the other side. Meanwhile I climbed on and came closer to the back of the trailer and stood in front of her horse so she could get on. Next thing we know an engine is SCREAMING and tires are trying to spin and does a COMPLETE donut and comes STRAIGHT AT Mom and I. I thought going around to the other side of the trailer in a hurried manner would be safest instead of getting pinned between our trailer and his truck. Well he does a tight circle around the back of our trailer (keep in mind that's where I was). I'm trying to get Lexi closer to the trailer now back on the right side because I didn't think he could turn that tight, but instead the front of his trailer hit her hind end and completely scooted her 90 degrees and pushed her back 3 feet and once we were turned her shoulder got hit too. Looking back I don't know how I didn't even get a scrape. And I don't know how Lexi didn't end up with a broken leg.

Wow I’m utterly speechless. I don’t even… just wow… I am so sorry you happened upon just and SOB sorry for language but man that guy is scum and I’m so sorry you and your mom and ponies were hurt but so glad it wasn’t any worse than it was.

Oh my gosh, that is terrifying! I'm so sorry your girl was hurt, but I'm glad you're in one piece. Most folks I know that hit the trails are kind and generous people, it's really scary to think about what else a man like this could have done.

I hope you and the police are able to find him, because someone like that is probably very capable of doing much worse to someone else.

The sherriff seems really on top of it. She gave us a big old hug after we shared everything. Later she was already messaging finding pictures of trailers to see if they were similar.

At first this morning Lexi didn't want to walk but seemed in good spirits. But now she's so grumpy she's not even letting me brush her (far away from the injuries of course)

Yeah not knowing how to drive is one thing, but I can't believe that someone would purposefully chase someone down. Especially a horse person.

Yeah Lexi was a trooper. So good before during and after. She's getting more and more resistant every time we doctor her though.

I had someone message me on FB with someone that has a similar description but they stopped responding after they said they were gonna check what kind of truck he had

I just keep telling her im sorry on repeat and doesn't believe me because I keep giving her bute. And she was so enthusiastic to go ride too! She was launching in the trailer to go before I was even ready for her to go

She definitely saved my life though. Just imagine if she had bucked me off I could've very easily landed under that guys trailer

I am sorry you experienced that. I saw the post on the Sheriff's Facebook page a couple days ago and was shocked.

Not anymore. I moved to Colorado a few years ago, but used to work for YCSO, so I have to check their page every so often and see what I am missing.

Mom and Lane xrayed lexi's hock that was super swollen. They see what could be a crack, but they're not sure as Lane doesn't see a lot of xrays every day. So they're sending it off to an expert

I am so sorry this is happening to you, HUSG. Hugs for you and Lexi.

That's horrifying! I hope they get some jail time and maybe their horses seized.

Lexi is doing good. We're starting to ride her again. I've had multiple people tell me she moves better now than in the entire 5 years I've had her but her hind end still looks wonky to me

Mom Riding

Mom rode her the other day and she looked pretty decent to me. Although the other day my friend Taylor rode her briefly and she looked really really off to me. So I'm not sure. Mom is pushing us to go to a show. Which sounds fun. Except its basically the opposite of the things I want to do with Lexi and Mom cares about winning to much. While we were recovering I missed getting to do all of the things I wanted to do with Lexi this summer :|

Lexi fortunately seems great now! People are crazy though
