Did not see any announcements about this. Its part of why I breed to build my show herd. I have spent ALOT of money with this game (I own EVERY GENE) and that's the fun, being able to breed and produce what I want and keep and enjoy them, and I have worked hard to get here. No pointed creates when I started, I had to work hard over years to get here..... feeling kind of blind sided and like this might be a change that stops me for good.

I still show the ability to buy barns for IVs in my voucher exchange IV shopping page so I'm not sure why yours doesn't have the option. Possible bug?

No it caps at 10,000 none primary stalls, I know it’s been that way for over a year.

I hit the cap too and was a little upset by it as well.

@pestilenttempest I bought one not long ago I swore I was already over 10k stalls and it worked

I didn't know either until I went to purchase GMT yesterday and saw I was unable to buy barns.

The cap has been in place for like 4 or 5 years? Barns grow exponitionaly. At a certain point, I have to have a cap to keep barns from being so large they become impossible for us to support. Your account will actually stop loading if you make it too big as your browser will be unable to load several of the pages. I will add a note to the page so no one will be blindsided by it anymore. I had not realized people were surprised by this. Sorry about that. It is never my intention to blindside people with stuff like this.

When that cap went in I don't think we were tracking how barns were purchased. It should be possible to have the limit be based on IV purchased barns only though I would need to rebalance the prices a bit to take that into account. :-?

ETA: Nothing in this game is immutable. Just talk to me. :)

@Ammit thanks for commenting, I guess lately I’ve been growing at an exceptional rate, and I understand it has to be limited, just caught me off guard. I was fine paying more per barn because it earned me more hbs which were balanced by needing more IVs. I think I will be okay, just need to find a new source to spent IVs on

I 5% boost lots of stuff when I have too much ivs.... but I know that doesn't work for everyone

Once I hit the barn cap, I started spending my money getting people to buy things like pastures or genes with real money - so exchanging my hbs for real money purchases. Figure it's a win-win because I get to get rid of all my extra hbs and Ammit still gets real money :)

@ElementalStables that is a great solution. You get barns or whatever you need and it keeps the economy of the game moving and healthy. :)
