    Please write me a story! Having a word count minimum seems a bit disresctful, but I'm really hoping for something decent length!

    Winners will be chosen by voting using the thanks feature. Ties will be broken by me.

    Prizes will likely go up depending on how many entries there are and how long I can keep it open. But currently 3 million for 1st, 2.5 million for second, and 2 million for 3rd.

    My original picture was a fiction from medieval times with horses or something, but in the past people have done just about anything from fiction or nonfiction. I would prefer 300+++ words, but even multiple pages would be even better. I'll probably close it January 8th ish. Although I'm bored now, so sooner the better!

    Aww! I"m so glad! I wish I could say the same for me. When I was little I wrote a lot. Even got a signiciant start into a novel but I didn't get quite the support I was hoping for (not blaming them as I believe you are in charge of your own actions), but the enthusiasm left and never came back, and now its been further squelched by a constant stream of bad writing teachers for 7+ish years now.

    Oh no! It's hard when people aren't as enthusiastic as you are. I started a novel when I was around 11-12 year old and did the same thing, I got a good distance into it and then stopped. I think I stopped for the opposite reason, my family was super super overenthusiastic about it and it started to feel like a lot of pressure. I didn't believe in myself enough to feel like I could meet their expectations/hopes. For that matter I still don't, I always start a writing projects and then it falls apart because I criticize myself looking for mistakes and plot holes etc and I never make it to the end before deciding its not worth it.

    But I keep an electronic notebook full of ideas that I've worked on since 2015 or so, and I went back and read it the other day... some of them are actually pretty good (and some are obviously dreams that I woke up and typed down while I was still half asleep, because they make no sense).

    Maybe one of these days I'll be able to break past just thinking about the bits and pieces and make them all come together.

    @miamoo and @horsey2 you guys did a fantastic job! I enjoyed reading what you've already posted!

    @Ktarpy Thanks! Novels are definitely hard to complete. It was a struggle for me, but I have completed 3. I have many many stories I just never stuck with though.

    Hey, I ended up throwing something together for you! It meanders a but but I hope you enjoy it. No horses included in the story at this point (sorry) but had a great time writing it. I might just keep going!
