So can anybody tell me how to change from normal search mode, so select mode? I'm trying to figure out how to put mares into a pasture faster and I can't seem to turn the "search" page into a select page?

The only way I can currently select mares are those already in pasture. And if they were in multiple pastures I cannot select them. Can you only transfer between pastures with the function?

For instance if I make a search for all "highest pt fantasy mares," how can I select them from the normal search page and then add them to a pasture?

Is there a way I can easily enter these into a pasture or must I still individually open up the pages? I'm been opening up individuals thus far.

My understanding is you have to do this from the barn or pasture page and then hit “View, Filter and Select in Search” at the top of your barn or pasture page.

You can’t do it from a general search page.

This means if you have a ton of tiny barns, it may be more efficient to take the time to make a naming algorithm or some such so that you can very quickly just go through your barns and click and move them that way. Or, if you have several large barns you ca. slowly try to move different groups all into one barn.

Guess I'll just keep doing it the old way. I sort horses into barns wherever they will fit. ^_^ I currently have over 11k horses lmao.

It would take me longer to go barn by barn than to just individually select from search & wait for 100 pages to load.

I have a similar number of horses. Sorting barns takes a lot of time, but once you have it set up it will save you a ton.

Just a note: you can make the process slightly easier by entering the barn number into the current search setup. While it does require a barn-by-barn basis, you don’t have to go to the “view in search” page each time - you just need to grab the barn ID and swap that out. The select button only checks for the presence of a single barn or pasture ID. Once you hit select and move them where you need to, just hit the back button until it returns you to the search.

Honestly I just pick one night during a month and resort my pastures. It isn’t too long. Just figured with all the new hype about the search function it might have changed something. ^_^ it’s less time for me to just ignore them all until I need to sort them into pastures then to figure out what barns they need to go into and then remember in a few months when I resort pastures. It’d take too long to empty out 1k barns and resort. I’ll just be a mess lmao.

Not true at all. You just need to filter by horses you own and a barn or pasture id. You then can add any additional filtering you want.

Here is the above post fixed to make it selectable. All I did was add a barn id.

How do you find out how many horses you have? I've always kind of wondered about that as I was scrolling through.

If you just search for owner ID and nothing more, jump to end and that'll give you a number. You can also see ones you've bred the same way. It would be nice if it showed up in our stats with other numbers though!
