Since RL circumstances have prevented me from participating in this year’s SS I would like to do a giveaway. I’m going to split the giveaway into three categories, players younger than 6 months, players with 6 months to 1 year seniority, and players with over 1 year seniority. One player from each category will win 1mill.

How to enter.
1. Tell me the category you are entering.
2. What you would use the funds for.
3. A happy, uplifting story.
You can be as detailed or short as you like.

I will do a drawing for winners, next weekend depending on how RL works out for me it could be the 16th through the 19th. I will try to give 24hr notice before closing entrees.

1) I'm not in the gift exchange, but I'm doing 2 GMT project horses (a stallion and a mare) for my boyfriend for Christmas and his birthday (his birthday was December 8th). The stallion is mostly finished, the mare still needs a lot more work (kit genes, merging, etc). I'm in the 1 year+ category.
2) I'd use the funds to get up GMTs for his horses I'm making (he *does* have his own account).
3) Just this week, I was telling myself that I'd spent too much real life money on Christmas gifts for others (and still have more to buy), but also have bills due, and wasn't sure what I was going to do to tide me over til the 16th (my next payday). I work at a restaurant (a small one, not a chain) and I'm a cashier there. That being said, I've come to know many of the customers over the last 3 years. Last night, a lady I haven't seen in forever came in (she literally only likes me of all the workers!!) and she gave me a little angel statue. Today, two customers that always come in, and are lovely people, but have never done anything for me like Christmas cards, etc; handed me a Christmas card and made a big deal about, "don't lose it". I didn't think anything of it, and decided to later open it, and there - inside that card (which was in a sealed envelope), I found $50. I literally almost cried, because those people had not realised what a help they were to me, and I do greatly appreciate it. It just gets me - family will treat you like garbage (trust me, I know all too well) and yet some people you don't even know treat you like their own.

-So, I like to do some writing in my spare time and just the other night I updated one of my stories online. Someone left a comment that said as soon as they got the notification they put everything down to run and read my update. It absolutely made my day! I write for my own enjoyment, but it felt really awesome knowing someone else gets a little joy out of my efforts, too!

6mos-1 year I thiiiiink I joined in March? I know I'm under a year because this is my first Christmas gift exchange.
2. What you would use the funds for.
I would use a chunk towards buying a new pasture (trading on the forum) and probably another chunk towards GMTs. I am diversifying my even bred herd into some fantasy genes and I have some new horses to play with after all these HHs!
3. A happy, uplifting story.
Just yesterday, three kids I had not heard from in a long time reached out to me - one to tell me (happy) news that she had not told anyone else yet, but wanted to tell me first; one that had come to visit me exactly 4 years before and was reminiscing; and one that I had been a mentor to, telling me that my mentoring had helped her get an enourmous grant to try to do a fantastic internship with. I was a mentor to all these kids years ago, and to hear that everything I was working so hard to convey got through really brought me to my knees.

I started playing in 15 the took a long break until two months ago so not sure which category I go in. I love this game its helped me so much with genetics and I would love to be able to continue learning. I would be able to get a few barns and pastures as well as horses to better what I am looking to do with my champagneherd.. I am able to play agian after getting away from my abusive in many ways ex husband. Now I have moved states started new have a family that I love dearly and I wouldnt change it for the world. My step kids and partners are my world I honestly dont know where I would be without them

2. I'm working on gift exchange secret stuff and would love some funds to fix up a couple horses.
3. I'm an artist and with the holiday rush, college finals and a part time job I've been going crazy, but I went skiing for the 4th time this season today! We haven't had much snow here (unusual) and its been super frustrating because my dog wants to go skijoring but we can't. Anyways it finally snowed a bit more overnight, and I'm trying to help my boyfriend learn to ski this winter so he came with, for the first time ever! It was super nice to get out and spend some time doing something without using my brain too much.

1) Younger than 6 months
2) I would use these funds to get a few genes for my first project boy on Forest and see if I could use it to help some other new players who are just starting out. I think it would be fun to have some chimera collectible lines that were strictly chimeras, so any non-chimera foals would not be kept. I want this to be my super strict-breeding server, and these generous funds would definitely help.
3) My family and I love to vacation to Maui, Hawaii, for 2-3 weeks every Summer. We've been going since I can remember, and when I was little, I stole someone's shoes. Of course, I got in trouble and returned them, but the owner of the shoes was a lady. As time passed that elderly couple became our amazing friends, and every year we would coordinate schedules to see them in Maui. But the gentleman had two strokes, and health issues kept them from coming for years, and it was established that for health reasons they would never come to Maui again. But this year, after years of not seeing them, we took the drive to Arizona, and we are currently spending time with them! After being discouraged from COVID, tornado damage from a freak tornado at our house, and everything just going crazy, I am so happy to finally be with our amazing, sweet friends right this minute!

Thank you for your generosity, and now I am going to go spend time with our friends :)

1) I have been playing this game for less than 6 months (I started in october actually)
2) Gmts to start an actual breeding project because I have been all over the place lately and I have nothing properly going on XXD
3) I am not very good at telling uplifting stories, but I haven't seen my mother in about 4 months when I usually see her about twice a month and I will get to go home for the holidays so that's really nice! (I also bought so many gifts for my brothers that they have no choice but to accept even if they keep saying I buy too much stuff)

If I had entered the exchange, I'd definitely be entering this. But this year, I decided not to enter the gift exchange and just focus on creating a bunch of amazing gifts for my boyfriend on here. A stallion and one of the mares is costing me a LOT of GMTs, but it's soooooo worth it! I only hope he likes them as much as I do!

I'm an under 6 months player, 2 months on Christmas Eve actually!
I would use the money to expand my barns and then dip my toes into GMT-ing. I'm really dying to try it out but haven't had the funds yet lol.
My most uplifting story of 2021 is as follows:
We raise Jacob sheep, and one day about a month after we thought lambing was over my mom called me freaking out because our Great Pyrenees came up from the pasture with a teeny tiny lamb in her mouth. I rushed over and found the smallest baby I've ever seen - she was only about 1 lb and about the size of a hand. Once I got her warm and dry, I discovered she had misshapen front legs and couldn't stand. Turned out her mother had somehow gotten bred too young and had this baby prematurely.
It was a long road, but with round-the-clock feeding and care and some help from the vets with the legs, the baby made it. She's 8 months old now and much smaller than the other lambs from this year, but perfectly healthy, perfect legs and just as saucy as can be. Even though I put in the time caring for her, I attribute her survival to our amazing dog who found her in the pasture and brought her to us, and to her own determination and will to live.

I would use the funds to exchange for IVs. I've been buying GMTs & barns with them recently slowly but surely! My show barns are getting bigger, I'd like to hit 100k/day show bonus by the springtime. :)

My uplifting story is my daughter's birth! My first and only child, an oops in every way but the world's biggest blessing ever. She is so gorgeous. Perfect in every way. She's so unique, strong, and advanced. She will be 6 weeks Sunday. She can hold her head up, push off mommy and daddy during burping to look around, she stands with assistance, her smiles light up the whole room (and my heart). I never knew the true meaning of the words: happiness, joy, or love until I laid eyes on this little girl. It is my first day back to work and as I finally sit for the first time since 8am (anxiety, you know!), all I can think about is how long itll take for me to get home so I can kiss all over my baby girl.
