I'm not sure many of you have noticed as I've been very busy the past couple years but this year I haven't been on near as much as I used to. I used to be on every day and loved being on here. I got married in May 2020 and my husband has a greenhouse and produce business. Well I've gotten more and more involved in it and I'm loving it. I'm a registered veterinary technician and in the spring this year went down to part-time and September I quit it all together so I can do more with the family business. I feel like someone up above has made this possible for us.
Just this fall a very wonderful old friend that I went to high school with had a 10-week-old little daughter of his diagnosed with terminal cancer. Upon reading this I started bawling and was ready to send money to help with food etc etc. With it being fall time we were heavy into our mum and pumpkin sale. So I immediately started thinking and put together a benefit Mum sale. We took 250 moms the first day and I sold out of my first load in 20 minutes at our first location in my hometown. We did two other times and were able to raise $6,000 for the family. I was very humbled especially because my husband was concerned that I was getting my hopes up but I know my community and they pull together. And I know I would never have been able to do this if I was still working. With us being in the greenhouse and produce business Winters are down time. I have taken a part-time job as a veterinary technician close to home so I don't get rusty with that. but I am excited to be able to be back with the game at least for another month or so here just in time for Christmas and I love Christmas on here. Everybody is always so friendly and I love rank specials and we get ranked specials everyday there's always something new going on and there's really cool tack packs. So I'm very excited for the coming season and hope to be able to do giveaways and fun stuff on here as well
