Question?
  • What is SBA and what is the difference between it and BA. BA is where you test the horse to see if it will get spayed or neutered.
  • Strict Breeding Advice vs Breeding Advice. Strict is harsher on the horse.

  • I do not know spa too well, but with ba the system allows the foal to be a small number of quality points below the highest quality parent and still pass while with sba it is more strict, like I think it has to be the same amount of quality points or maybe even one or two higher than the highest parent to pass. If you really want to be strict on the foal use spa if you have it, if you want to give it more leeway (A chimera, for example) use ba
All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.
  • ok so like i am doint Drafts only in Mu and looking for them to carey the genes I want and be the Letter or Color I want. And I have Sport Pony WT and Axiom and doing the same with them. So that is SBA right.

Thanks so much for the info.
  • If that is something for a Premium upgrade I do not have it.
  • Yep, SBA is just an extra test that premium accounts get so they can be extra picky about their breeding ability. It's the same thing as BA, just a "stronger" version and more total foals will end up snipped.

But as long as you're picky about which paper levels pass (the first couple of generations you can enforce the foals getting a paper level higher than their parents in addition to passing BA) then you can still get a nice strict line increase on just a basic upgrade too.

  • I always SBA now since I've gotten much stricter with my lines and even then colts MUST be superior to sire and paper higher then them usually. Mares I'm way less harsh. But lallyhop gave really good advice on using BA. SBA is just a little harsher but generally the same result.

  • Oh ok thank you. So by next only using colts that are superior to their dads and or brothers for the 3rd 4th 5th and so generations I will grow a better herd. And as for the girls I use Reds and Blues until I build enough blues to use just blues. And then I will compare the blue girls between themselves to pick out the better ones.
I have been doing this in every server. And I really am hopeing to improve my herd and grow the best one I can.
