So I kinda went hog wild and pig crazy in the gmt lab last month and made myself three new foundation sires to take my breeding program in two completely new and one newly redesigned directions. I think I'm almost finished, but am looking for insights in case I've missed something. Any help is much appreciated :)

Snow Blind will be the new foundation sire for my main snowflake line. I *think* he's finished, but I could be wrong. He can't breed until next month anyhow, so I've got time to tweak him if anyone sees something I could add.

Snow Blind RSLMP

Green Beret is my first real leap into fantasy genes, and I'm hoping to maybe add something else to him but I don't know what. Definitely needs another halo added and I'll see what fun things are added to the gene sale on the 15th before I'll call him done. I plan on breeding him to my flashy non snowflake girls in order to see the apples well. And should I add some of the other phantom genes to a couple of his mares to see what happens? Thoughts?

Alignak came to be because of the shortly lived (and accidental) Blue Breeder's Club. But he was already almost finished so I'll use him to make blue roan snowflakes. Now we'll just gun for the Roan Breeder's Club instead :) I just added satin so I *think* he's done as well, but am certainly open to any suggestions. Most of his mares are Catch a Blue Moons but there are a few other non RS blue roans thrown in for funsies

Also, I have an alternative for Snow Blind so further generations won't be entirely based off him, but should I do the same for the other two? These are now my main three lines I'm focusing on instead of being all willy nilly all over the place. What would you do? Thanks!

Oh, they're all gorgeous! The only suggestion I'd have is changing Snow's cr/prl into prl/prl, but that only because I really love pearl snowflakes myself, lol.

Giving Beret's mares some stuff could be a lot of fun, yeah! And Alignak is just yummy :x

Thanks! Ilove pearl too. I gave him cream to change him to palomino cause I'm not a big fan of chestnuts lol So no matter who I breed him with they'll get a copy of cream or pearl and be lovely. I'm super excited to put them all to use

I personally love the look of roan, snowflake, and w3 combinations for Alignak, so maybe add w3? I can't remember right now if the Catch a Blue Moon RS has w2 or not though. That would be a moderately risky cross, but as long as you keep the white factor low it should be okay.

I've always enjoyed KP with snowflake as I think it looks like clouds in a snow storm.

@HTRanch It'd be too risky to add the w3 to Alignak as most of his mares have w2 or some other variant. I'm afraid I'd end up with more dead foals than live ones, though I agree it would be pretty on him.

@ChrystalBlues I'll have to look into KP as it really hasn't been on my radar. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll hit the search page and maybe the lab again lol
