Not too sure if he counts, but This is my goodest boy, Dawn. He's the best of the best in my bootstrap line. It's been a long road since I first had the thought that I wanted to bootstrap blingy liver chestnuts, about 2.5 years of trial and error, blood, sweat, and speld tears lol. I had a hard time finding a stud back then, so I used what I could. The line stagnated and I almost sold the entire herd a couple times lol. I finally got serious about it and found a good stud. I slowly replaced mares with better ones, built my girls up and eventually wound up with this fella. He was best in pasture and my first colt from his sire to actually pass BA. His sire has a 5% boost so I wasnt expecting anything to pass at all lol. But man oh man, Dawn had a completely different look back then.(plain Jane bay) I knew he would be something special for my Liver herd if I could get a boost and the things he missed from his parents, but I was just about broke and trying everything I could to save for new barns at the time, so I chunked him in the project barn and hoped I'd get to him.
I really got lucky. About the same time, Goobani put up offers to GMT/Boost horses for folks. I sent him over, and he came back with all the things he missed out on from his parents and a 5% boost! He's done so very much for my show herd, my daily bonus, and my bootstrap herd quality. He has been on the LBs since his first season at stud and had a few seasons as champion in various clubs. He gave me a filly that broke the PT record at the time for the liver club. I couldn't be more proud of him. I know he's not exactly a horse that was gifted to me, but without Goobanni's gift of GMting and boosting him for me, my herd would not be anywhere near the awesomeness it is today!

I was still fairly new when this guy was gifted to me by RunFarAway for a bootstrap line. At the time I was looking for ways to build my daily bonus so I could afford to work on my even bred line. His line quickly became my favorite. I’m a little sad this is his last breeding season, but I have a really nice colt out of him to take his place.
