He's a gorgeous boy, but I just cant think of a name for him!
I honestly need to give each of my horses an individual name, the number names often cause me to confuse one mare/stud with another lol.

Only studs and donor mares receive names here. Studs are named by whatever their sire reminds me of... so for example I started with:

(Foundation) Fendi has given me (G2) LouisVutton & Burberry, then further down, (G3) Gucci, Hermes, & Lancome.

(Foundation) Ghirardelli has given me (G2) Dove, who gave me (G3) Hershey.

(Foundation) Iced Out Pearls has given me (G2) Mocha, which resulted in (G3) Mochi, Coffee, Cafe, & Liquer who gave me (G4) Vodka and MrLatte. Very satisfying and powerful line here.

My mares all receive their sire stamp, then gene codes, followed by PT/paper abbreviations.
Ex: 2S LouisV sfwcwwsp 112B which reads as 2nd gen, superior to dam, LouisV daughter that has het snf, watercolor, wrong warp, and sooty + that tested at 11.2 PT and Blue papers.

I either name my breed horses based on what comes to mind looking at them or with the RNG. Then the babies get some mix of parents names or are based on the theme of the parents.

For instance, i have a coffee themed sire so all his foals either had the same coffee themed word in their name or a different coffee related word, depending what i could tie in with the dam's name.

I use SB as my prefix and G1, G2, etc. If they come from another breeder, they get to keep their prefix and gen but i give the foal its gen based on the parent i bred.

Show ponies get RNG single word names for the most part, unless inspiration strikes very rapidly when i first see them.

I only name foundations studs and horses that get touched in the lab. Most of my stock doesn't get anything but generation.
