River, I think that's a really high price for an 11 year old show gelding that is going to level off in the near future. For comparison, here is a spayed mare I paid 2600 for, that has 500+ points.

Your boys color is amazing, but it doesn't count in the show ring.

11k is a lot for a horse with 250 points who is probably going to die in 7 months, especially for someone new who can't afford to pay a lot of money. :) Assuming he doesn't win anything between now and then, 7 months at 4 weeks a month and a payment each week is 28 weeks. 3/4 of 300 points is 225. 225 times 28 is only 6300hbs, only slightly more than half of your asking price. :) He is pretty, but is that worth that much to a young player? :)

I know, I'm just clarifying. :) And naturally I'm not going to buy a horse you suggest to someone else, it's just that I don't want someone to pay too much for something without realizing it. :)
