Boosting Advice

I bred this boy and I’d love to use him as a stud. He tested superior to his ExPro grand sire. I’m assuming his sire is low A. If I throw a 5% boost at him, do you think he will end up superior to his sire?
His dam is probably my favourite horse I’ve ever bred, and having a brindle colt out of her would be such a treat.
Thanks! -
Is he AGA his sire? I personally wouldn’t boost him unles I reallyyyyy liked his genes. (You could always breed another/merge two other foals to create a brindle. It’s cheaper <3 )

It’s cheaper to merge? I had no idea. I’ll probably do that then! Thanks!

I didn't know that it was cheaper to merge either. That certainly puts a different spin on things. I've probably spent a lot more money on boosting than was strictly necessary. Oh well, at least I know now.I breed for Spotted Drafts that could actually be registered in real life. I like them to be Black, Creamy Black, Gray Black, or Grullo and the horse has to have at least a 2inch square patch of white above the knees/hocks and not on the head. I am hoping to get some really unique color combinations. ID# 50732

If you do merge, make sure you use the foal with the best quality as the main one as that's what the final quality will be.#28036
