I just went and got a rapid test done for covid and it came back positive. I am beyond devastated. I have to miss the next 2 weeks of work meaning i miss an entire pay period (I have to have $2500 in my account by the 15th for taxes and this is a huge blow), I basically ruined Easter Sunday (my dad is a pastor at a small church and now he's not sure how to proceed this weekend), my boyfriend has been in direct contact with me all weekend so now he has to go through proceedings at his work and may have to work from home (he works in IT at a school) AND he's been around his parents AND his elderly grandma who lives with his parents, I can't taste or smell anything which has really put me off wanting to eat anything... etc... Thankfully my mom tested negative. At least I didn't have a lot of direct contact with my family this weekend while everyone was visiting. My sister is going to get tested since I had the most contact with her. I just feel horrible even though I know it's not my fault I got sick. I just feel like I am messing up other people's lives. At least I have my doggo here to snuggle with me...

Drink plenty of water. Take a spoonful or two of honey. Lots of vitamins! C and D and everything you'd toss at a cold. Feel better soon. @};-

@Haltanny I am finally starting to feel better. I can taste and smell again, albiet rather weakly, but it's there. I am no longer stuffed up. I still get a bit fatigued rather easily when doing anything too physical but it's getting better.

In other news, my brother, my 8.5 month pregnant sister in law, both my sisters, my brother in law, and my boyfriend have all tested positive. My parents, surprisingly both tested negative. We are also fairly certain that my brother's 4 year old and 2 year old both have it as well. It's been a struggle but we are all hanging in there.

@FeldingFields thank you :) I am officially out of isolation as of this past Friday and tonight is my first night back to work! I feel so much better than I did a week ago :) my boyfriend ended up testing positive and had to quarantine and work from home so I ended up going to stay with him for a week and it boosted my mental health a ton. But he went back to work as of yesterday and now I'm back at home again lol everyone in my family that tested positive are recovering, including my sister in law who just delivered her third child yesterday :D :x they finally have a boy lol thanks again for checking in on me!

I am glad you are feeling better - how awful for you. I'm in the UK and due to this nasty virus, I haven't seen my elderly parents for over a year even though they only live 100 miles from me :(
It's a horrible time..
