Show off those ponies
-
After taking a long hiatus from the forest server I'm ready to jump back in. However, I'm stumped on what I would like to breed for. I would like for it to be different than for what I do on the other servers but I'm open to suggestions. So, show off what you breed or tell me about it. If you have accounts on the other servers do you breed for the same things or for something different?? Also, do you breed WB, RH or DR?

On this server I focus on heavy brown's and recessive bay with lots of fantasy genes.
G3A6285245
On bluegrass I breed tiny browns and recessive bay with tobiano and some watercolor.
G211863484
On mesa I breed tall chunky browns with appy.
G3165861
I have a favorite. I also have a no rules but quality bootstrap herd over here and greys on mesa. I'm waiting impatiently for the minis update to restart a cherry drop line on this account.45120 -
I breed for sooty cobs, the smaller the better. I have numerous genetic lines, but the goal for all of them is short and stout with sooty.
My GP line includes sooty, DP, and sooty +. I will be throwing in some of the phantom genes as they crop up as well.
BV Ebenezer Scrooge Gs
BV Ace Gh
My classic champagne line must have DP and only be classic (no bay or chestnuts in these guys):
BV Chestnut Chill Ch
I have a silver black, satin, sooty+ chinchilla line that I like to mix with my colourful ponies:
BV Sir Everard LST
BV2 Sir Lonan Lst
I love mushroom on flaxen, liver chestnuts. A ton of my stock is at least het mushroom because I love the gene so much!
BV SongsOfOld UF
BV5 Spice sU
And I also have a bright, sparkly, colourful line with the paintbrush genes, phantoms, KP, chocolate, ices and mostly everything else I own and love! I have so much fun with these guys!
BV ByTheSeaShore RS
BV2 Hearts Ashore RHkO
BV2 ByTheTacoTown rkhu
BV2 Eriu wrgK
BV2 Maple Tree bH
Additionally, I love nacre and onyx. Onyx is prevalent in quite a few of my lines, but I'm still working on bringing more nacre in.
BV Cinnamon Twist ySTKfH
Cinnamon has contributed a lot of onyx to my lines.
BV2 Silent Star ystlnkg
I'm also starting up a little line of tiny riding ponies. This man here will be the foundation sire for that one once I've finished GMTing him!
BV pretzels rs rp gmt
You are welcome to cruise through my barns and check out more ponies, too. I couldn't possibly list all my favourite! :))ID# 25784 -
My current fav boy :)

For natural color I love DP, S+, Snowflake and white spotting. A little satin and chocolate too :)
For Fantasy I love Chinchilla, Mushroom, and any combination of Warp/Nexus, Ice and the Watercolor/Plaid/Nacre/Thunderstuck group -
My newest thing is Rainbow Riot. :D Here's my boys.

Oh my! Such pretty babes. I'm definitely going to be doing drafts and maybe cobs. I'm thinking I like the darker colors but the chincilla is definitely one I'm going to save up for.

Ah, I hope for a more completed example of what I breed for in a month or two (Once I get all the Dun Modifiers worked in and showing) but here are some examples of what I have so far, basically around dark black based dun with trying to add flashy, but minimalistic flares in while trying to go for a primitive look. I am still working on getting some genes that will show that well though. (I breed mainly bootstrap)
Wyldwood Wildlands Sup P1
Tough Secret
Burden of Knighthood sup
Honorable Deed
Faulkars Lesson P1
Tough Chocolate
In The Highlight P2All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps. -
Chinchilla looks good with all the other fancy genes and white spots. It shows off to it's best with silver added in. Just keep in mind that chestnuts will be solid white.45120
