Is the welcome pack barn temporary or permanent? I can't find it in the faq

It is all yours for as long as you want it! You can sell it back to the game for Investment Vouchers at a later date, if you want.

thank you. I didn't want to use it and find out it was going to go buh bye and lose horses

Even if you forget and sell a barn with horses in it, the horses get moved to your primary barn.
