Yea, I'm quickly figuring out that I love writing for myself but don't like writing for teachers. Especially those in the honors department. Haha. I don't mind criticism but am I really a horrible person for saying "mankind" instead of "humankind"? I think that's a little bit excessive.

My husband kept on being concerned that the greatest thing he ever wrote was a mononoke fanfic novel a few years ago and at times he fears that he can't ever break that quality wall makes it hard for him to write (Both fanfic and original) now. It was so nice (and a little too much I told you so vibe) to see his face when he decided to show the momonokte story to a local writing group because he had run out of recent work and they told him that it was good but also showed that he made made los of development and quality progress since writing it. Just write what you wan to write, work with it when you have the time and you will be getting better. I literally took two years off caring about quality just speed writing down the story of all the things my warp character did, and although it is hard slowing down and trying to come up with plot again instead of just writing down things that happened I have found that my writing has increased so much after.

Sure I'd love a critique! My feelings won't be hurt considering I haven't changed a single word since probably 7thish grade and I'm now 2nd year of college. Haha

Wow! So exciting that he's been getting better! I need to find something like that. I have the same problem with my step mom and Mom. Like I'll say I only share if you critique it then they'll just give me "oh it's nice!" And I'm like that's not the deal! And then I never share it again and then I proceed to have no progress. Haha
