This giveaway is copied with permission from @Herzeloyde's giveaway on the Bluegrass server and @LadyHawkeStable's giveaway on the Mesa server. It's a great idea and I'm appreciative of their generosity in letting me run a similar giveaway here!

- If you are new to this server (your accounts on this server are 6 months old or younger) with a daily bonus of less than 10,000 hbs, post a horse for sale for 75,000 hbs and post the link to the sale horse on this thread. I or another established player will buy them from you so you have some seed money to start your stable.
- This offer is for new players. If your barn is established, this giveaway is not intended for you, but you are welcome to take part by buying newer players' horses!
- Only post one sale horse per player. If you have multiple accounts on this server, only one account can enter this giveaway.
- If another player buys your horse before I can get to it, no problem! Generosity is one of the best features of the HaJ community and the most important part is that you get some money to start your barn.

The following comment will include a bonus guide to getting the most return out of your 75k hbs!

Below is some advice for new players also written by @herzeloyde with a few minor bonus modifications from @LadyHawkeStables.

If you need to build your economy, and can still create foundations with points, here is what I would do:

1)
First, try to get hold of all the following Herd helpers you can get:
- Exceptionally Perfect
- - Exceptionally Producing (of all kinds)
- Exceptional Show Horse
- - Perfect Foundations
- Great Show Horses
- - Rank Specials

Because they will be more attractive to buyers. Then, when you have created as many as you can with these HHs every day, you can start creating from regular Herd Helpers.

2)
If you get a rare 600+pointed horse, keep them if you want, but sell everything else, unless it is a rare Herd Helper that you just can't part with.

Put the horses up for sale for 50-60% of their lifetime value, announce it on the forum, and they will sell quick. If you name them according to their HH, it is more easy for buyers to see which ones they want to buy. i.e. I would call a horse created from the Exceptionally Perfect HH something like "9890973 Ex Perfect" or "9890973 Great ShowH" if it is the "Great Show Horse" HH you used etc.

***2a bonus from Ladyhawke. Do not make separate posts for each sale horse. If you go an a large create spree, put all of those horses up together in one forum post***

You do NOT need to waste money on testing them, other than the free breeding test, because experienced players will already know about how good they are, if they are created from one of the above Herd Helpers.

3)
Enter any horse that did not sell after a couple of days into the auction, and use the money you earn to create new horses, and repeat step 1-3.

**3a bonus by Ladyhawke: If you create all of your horses as 4 y/o mares, you can pasture breed them for only 500 hbs each. You can then auction off both the mare and foal for an extra 2,000 hbs profit.***

Keep only the few that you do not want to part with, or that will be crucial to your breeding program, and the ones with the highest points. (more than 500+ at least), so you can maximize your barn space by keeping the horses that earn you the most hbs per stall.

Once you have reached your limit of 20,000 points held, and all the horses in your stable are horses you want to keep, it is time to use the money you have saved in your bank account and buy the biggest barn you can afford.

4)
Now it is time to buy other player's pointed foundations, and fill the new barn with pointed foundation show horses only. When you have done this, you will have a nice, steady income to support your pixel pony addiction!

5)
You can also get a nice income by selling off Rank Specials, if you are lucky enough to get one, for their real market value. Forum auction is probably the best way to make sure that you get payed what they are worth, or just put them straight up for sale for the prices you see they sell for on the forum. Use the horse search to find out how other horses similar to yours are priced.

The money you earn can be used to buy a Basic Upgrade, or for saving for the special show barn.

*** 5a bonus tip from HTR: A Basic Upgrade will get you an extra 7500 hbs every Sunday and will allow you to mass enter your horses in shows. Entering your horses in shows twice every week will help your daily bonus grow and maximize the money you earn from each horse. ***

- If you reach the 20,000 points held-limit, and can no longer create foundations with points, just sell the horses, and you can start creating horses with points again, until all the horses you have in your barn are super high 5-600+ pointed horses, and their total amount of points exceeds 20,000.

Edit: Thank you! I was able to get enough IVs to get a new barn and move my breeding mares so i have more room for show ponies now! I was slowly accumulating IVs but this was a great boost.
