I downsized and culled my herds quite a bit over Christmas (shout out to everyone who helped by taking some ponies home!).

All I have left is my bootstrap herds, my Dark Side of the Moon (black chocolate chinchillas) and Den Röda Linjen (liver reds).

I need help tweaking the newest boy in my updated roster- The Red Line.

The Red Line

Liver with sooty+ and satin always makes me weak kneed. I am planning to keep it ultra simple but he needs some kind of white dusting on him to tie it all together. I am struggling with ideas- if this was your boy, what else would you do?

Hom. Sb2 or Sb2 with Kit m.

I would do W8 and maybe kp2 to make it a bit softer. But in all honesty I think he’s lovely the way he is.

I love sabino, but especially sb2, on dark bases.

I love white 10 on my liver horses! This is my current liver herd stallion with sooty plus and white 10.

I'm a sucker for rabicano, so that'd probably be the only change i'd make.

W10 is my favourite in livers but, if you want something more subtle, my close second choice would be W3 maybe with het KP2.

I'm a sucker for Kit M, but he's stunning as is too. (And I put Kit M on everything, so that's saying something.)

But my favorite combos are Kit M, KP2, and W8 with a low white factor to no white factor. It gives a very flashy look, but as the white factor goes up, the W8 tends to take over. I've been sticking to just Kit M with appy and KP2. It is really beautiful. I also love a bit of Tobi thrown in (you can get the bonus Tobi cloud now too!).

But seriously, that satin shine is amazing with the dapples. It would be sad to see it go. He's really extraordinary.

I really like sabino 1 and sabino 2 with a very low white factor and KP2. It makes a kind of pseudo-nexus.

But I agree that Kit M at none white factor is very nice. It looks like birdcatcher spots!

Kitm, w3, and kp2. At none white factor I love that look.

Hom Sabino 2 at low or none white factor would look stunning on him <3<br />Maybe Splash M if you don't want to worry about the white factor too much?

I love all the wonderful suggestions, thoughts, and combinations! I have a lot to think about and I am excited to finish him up now!

I would probably put W10, Rabicano or KitM on him. If you put on KitM I would also put on KP2. Beautiful stallion!
