This is the last horse I know of where you can directly see Tagamon in the pedigree. If I'd known I would have pulled eggs from her! Oh the memories! I know its been real life years since a lot has happened with her!

Trying to look down the pedigree was a nightmare, I could't find the names where She should be amid the sea of blue, but looking at Taggamon's pedigree again I think I might have seen her mother in there. So maybe with this mare and her daughter? I can't remember when I sold Taggamon though and if I got foals from her first, I think I mat have sold her as a foal and so would not have had any offspring.

You very generously gifted me Tagamon Grove some seasons ago. She has had a huge impact on my bootstap line as I try to get my bone size down. She passed away a few seasons ago, but I still appreciate my time with her.

I have a lot of straws from her dad. He was one of the earliest bootstrap stallions, so he isn't a comparison to the modern guys. and he is an ancestor, not a descendant of her, but I have them available if anyone would like them too.

I loved Tagamon! I used a few horses from her line a lot in my herd because I liked Solemn Singularity so much. He's still all over my boot lines and Tagamon is too, I know, but I'm not having any luck finding her decendants in my herd right now. I had half a dozen or so "Tag" mares at one point, but that's been enough generations back it's hard to find them now. My boot lines evolve quickly. Lol I remember one of my favorites was a mare named Remus Tag, though. Pretty bay tobiano girl. I loved her and her foals, they helped me get more of two of my favorite lines into my herd.

I am absolute pants at pricing but I'll happily pay whatever for a couple. I've got some Dark Star straws from 3 different studs I've been holding onto that I think should mesh well with Tag :)

I was kinda hoping for 20k-30k, but I don't know if I'm being absurd with how much horse prices have dropped versus 2-3 years ago.

I can't decide between a "modern" boy of mine with closed genes, and is SUP to even Hyacinth so should be super high, or cross with one of her sons, or I THINK I have old dark star straws I could cross her with.

I'm probably going to look for a super low bone weight one next.

I typically do all of my AI lab breeding right before pastures open up, but I have no breeding left to do now so I'm seriously considering implanting the 8G one now.

Maybe I should cross one back to her sire?

I'm down to 11k already!

Making embryos is more important to me than anything right now. Solve some of the chaos. Nothing to organize about embryos... I always implant the oldest ones. The planning and crossing already happened. But I have dozens? (hundreds?) of different mares and stallions in breeding lab with hundreds of straws each so its just chaos! And I don't even know what I have any more.

This is turning in to a fantastic consorted legacy project!

My current plan with the ones I have created is to boost them and then clone and then boost the clones.
Tagamon is going to have a strong resurgence in the bootstrap lines of both my accounts. :x

@Blackwyld (and any one else) You can have straws from anyone. These are the bootstrap boys I have with Tagamon in them. The BS5 in their name means they have passed BA - none of them have been through SBA. I'd even sell A Lil More Tagamon if anyone wants him - he's just not getting used in my barns anymore.

I honestly keep forgetting about eggs - still new to premium. I would be willing to do a mass flush and split eggs with anyone interested from these ladies - though they've either all been bred this month or are underage, so I can't pull until January. These two searches *should* catch all of the mares with Tagamon in my lines. Mostly light-boned - I've been forcing my bone downward for a year now - but a couple of warmbloods. The one BS6 mare has passed SBA.
