I am thinking about starting all my lines over for fun and selling off a big portion of breeding stock that I own. i am thinking of doing this for fun and use up all my frozen stock, keeping select young breeding stock. My lines have become crazy and its making it hard to keep track of what is what and I'm just generally unhappy with the way its going. A lot of my new breeding would be from eggs/straws so I may end up with a heavy amount of as good as stock for gen two but I may be willing to take that chance. I would be doing this for both bluegrass and forest servers. I may be looking for a bunch of straws if i have no stock for some of my owned genes!

You're welcome to browse my guys! And if you let me know before dec 5th, i can pull eggs from any of my girls for you. Most of my girls aren't too special but there's a few gems in there.

I have done this a few times and it was very cathartic! It really helps to narrow down your goals and get excited about it again. If you would like to stick with cobs and drafts I’m more than happy to help out with straws and eggs once you decide where you want to go!

I've been purging one barn at a time whenever I get a wild hair about having too many. It's accidentally made my stock better. If I own anything that helps reach your goals, just shoot me a pm.

@Seaswell my lines just got crazy and then I combined them and made them even even worse and now I'm going in circles! I'm going to try to keep them all similar in age within 1-4 years because i feel like I'm rushing to get everyone bred and I'm still adding genes :))

I am thinkong along those lines as well. I have cobs if you would like to browse through my barns. I can pull straws from my boys.

You are totally welcome to message me for straws of any boys I have! I'm not on every day, so you may have to wait a bit, but if I got em, I'll help ya out! I usually do 1k per straw. :)
