Thanksgiving Giveaway
-
I have never done one of these before, but here we go:
I am giving away a GMTable Pretzel Twist stud that has already had some extensive GMT work done on him.
In order to win him, there are two steps. Since it is the season of giving, I would like to know a little about your giving spirit. So here are my questions.
1- If you could do one thing to help someone this Thanksgiving, what would it be and why?
2- Has anyone ever "paid it forward" for you, and did you pay it forward after? (Think the common example of the drive thru line of paying for meals.)
Here is the stud:
Twisted Freckles
This contest will end next Thursday the 26th after the auction. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! -
Thanks for hosting! I would like to enter. If I could help someone this thanks giving I would give someone a thanks giving meal who couldn't afford it. I choose a thanks giving meal because they could be hungry and on every thanks giving friends and family all gather and eat so if they couldn't afford to celebrate they could still by the meal I gave them.
I have never had the "pay It Forward" thing happen to me but a few years ago I went to Ireland for 2 weeks and while I was there I saw a few home less people and dogs so I bought them some lunch and water.Fth Stables

I love both those answers. Thank you for sharing and entering! :)

If I could do one thing to help people for Thanksgiving I would volunteer at the local turkey drive and/or soup kitchen to help collect the food that will be given out the night before to less fortunate families. I have always considered helping out but never end up having the time with all the work I usually have. (I just end up donating a turkey each year with my family)
I have never had someone “pay it forward” to me (as far as I can remember haha). But I’m ever so thankful for the people that surround me and the kindness and generosity they have shown me and others.
Thanks for hosting :) -
Thank you for another wonderful entry! :)
I've always loved soup kitchens and food drives as well. :) -

Gunna get a little personal here lol. I'd send my sister in law(read best friend) and kiddos to see her mom/dad/ family if I could afford to. Without getting into too much detail, her family lives about 8 hours away, the next state over. My sis in law wrecked her truck in Sept hydroplaning, so she has no vehicle to go there herself. Her and my niece were okay, but the truck couldn't say the same. She rarely gets to go see her family cause my brother in law makes her feel guilty about it (he's pretty controlling) He told her she could go but he didn't want to, and her mom even offered to meet halfway, but sis in law has pretty much talked herself out of it cause she's worried she'll "get in trouble" I'd still take her, but my truck gets about 8 mpg average and we have no income at the moment. I just think she deserves to enjoy herself and be with her family without stressing over BS, even if it means I have to miss out on turkey day with her. Shes the drop everything and do anything for anyone type of person and she forgets to make herself happy cause she's always tending to everyone else's needs and wants.

I can't think of a specific time, but mama and Daddy raise me right. You help someone that needs help, and you don't look for nothing in return. Good deeds always get rewarded in some way, even if it just makes your heart happy to help. Lots of folks have helped me thru the years, so I help others when I can. -
Oops that posted twice lol

I adore both of those answers! Thank you for entering! :)
(I wish I could help your sister-in-law as well! I hope she gets to see them.) -
@Cheval, I meant to come edit this, but she headed out this afternoon! I'm so happy she got to go!
-
@Windigo Oh yay!! I'm so happy to hear that! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving as well. *Hugs*

Bump. If no more interest, I will end this after Tuesday's auction.

I will be ending this tonight after the auction. The winner will be picked via a random number generator. Good luck to the people that entered, and thank you for entering! Happy Thanksgiving!

Congratulations @Windigo
I will add you to my sales chat and post him there for you.
I will be sending the other two players 50k hbs each for playing! @cissycat3 @FrequentFlyer -
@cissycat3 if you post a pony here for 50,000, I will buy it. I cannot send it directly to you since your account is too young. :)
