Artificially inflating foal PT won't make him a better stud or help him on the LB. Normally better to keep those foals as showers. They also reflect his real AFPT.

Depends on why you are getting rid of lower PT foals from that horse. If it is just for room reasons then no. People sometimes try to get a stud on the LB by artificially inflating AFPT scores [average foal PT not the PT of the individual foals] by dumping lower PT foals which does not actually help the leaderboard standing in anyway.

Your post made it sound like you were dumping low PT foals to make his AFPT higher. I didn't want you wasting a bunch of time thinking it would help. Was just trying to give you some info that might be helpful.

You will have to post a link to the stud for answers about specific foals though.
