So earlier this week my grandpa was in town and he was leaving to go home the next day. I’d been begging him to stay a few more days, but he was decided. So that night I went with him to fill up the gas tank of his Escalade, and we could not get the gas cap off, we tried everything fought with it for at least 20 minutes. Then we headed to Walmart to buy a wrench. It came off in a minute after we got that, didn’t even break the cap or anything. Anyway I joked “this is God’s divine intervention, you need to stay for a few more days.” He laughed and said no he was still leaving.

I went to my parents house the next morning and he was already gone. So I went off to work, and went back to my parents house on my lunch break and there sat the Escalade on a car trailer behind my dad’s pickup. I’m trying really hard not to laugh since It fit with what I’d said the night before. Turns out he hit a deer a little over an hour out of town. So he and my dad spent the day fixing the rig, and he left the next day. The family also says I must have payed the deer to jump in front of him, to get him to stay longer. I just laughed and answered it wasn’t me, because how can you explain a mechanic with years of experience struggling with a gas cap? Anyway I thought it was either a funny set of coincidences, or God intervening for some unknown reason.

On a side note, I'd love to breed mice again. Specifically small rats, but my whole house would kill me if I brought them home.

Thank you everyone! My surgery went well. The trickiest part was trying to find a vein for the meds haha I'm quite sore in one spot.
Now I'm just taking it an easy, which is driving me crazy!

@RoseFluteb that does seen like a stressful dream! But also kind of funny. I'm so behind on sorting horses it makes me not want to do it haha

@BlaxkDiamond oh wow! That does seem like some force was stopping him from leaving, like fate knew something was going to happen so fate stoped him from going. Very neat!

@FallenShadows714 I'm so jealous! I've been thinking about dabbling into African Spiny Mice, but I've been hesitating haha I think once I get a snake I'll breed mice. Right now I breed geckos lol

@Seaswell the surgery went quite well. Woke up and the first thing my dipped up mind wanted was apple juice haha

@Best Friend it went great! Now I just have to deal with soreness lol thank God it's behind me now!
