The best new gene for Autumn Drizzles ~Dun Factor Promoter 2~
-
The days are getting short and autumn drizzles are here to stay. The newest gene to the HuntAndJump family celebrates that. Please welcome Dun Factor Promoter 2!
DFP2 acts on the dun gene to create larger and bolder primitive markings on a horse. This is a licensed gene and requires a copy of true dun (not nd1 or onyx) to show.
When Het
The gene only requires one copy to show. With a single copy the horse will be marked with a bold shoulder cross.
When Hom
Horses with two copies of the gene will produce dramatic drizzled dorsal stripes
Pigment density
The size of the primitive markings are influenced by the amount of pigment a horse has with darker horses having larger markings.
With DFP1
DFP2 also has a bold interaction with DFP1 resulting in intense brindle like markings. DFP1 is also for sale if you would like to combine these two genes.
DPF1 and DFP2 and Onyx are available until Nov 15th
