How get bigger spots?

Spot size is extremely complicated and there have been multiple threads on the subject. The basics that we know are denser (i.e. darker) colors are more likely to have larger spots, but there are a lot of other factors, many that we can't see. If i was going to breed for large spots, i'd want the darkest colors: black, black liver, sooty het brown. Aside from that, it's kind of luck of the draw as to whether the horse has the other genes necessary.
