He is unbred (foals are sold back to the game) and gene tested but he wont show up on my modification list whatsoever. Am i doing something wrong?

You likely have to wait a bit. While he has no foals, his page still says 3 foals found. You'll likely have to wait for that to catch up to the rest.

His foals has foals, wich means he has living descendants, and wont be able to be modified :)
