It looks like the jellyfish was put on the wrong set of genes for it to show. He'll need a second Kit gene on his primary set.

The brindle markings are messing up the expression and making it extremely difficult to see.

Since it is only het on the horses primary set of DNA it is only showing on, basically speaking, half the horse.

You can try to rerolling to see if you get a better expression. You will probably have the most luck aiming to reroll to get the patchwork look as it has a better chance at a clearer expression.

I have also noticed in my chimera experience that the primary DNA set is not the more dominant showing colour-wise.



In the end, try rerolling. :)
