So on a chimera, is the primary DNA set the first set? For some reason I had it in my head that the second set shows before the first set in genes like Paintbrush?? I think I'm just confusing myself LOL!

I believe that the primary if the first set. I was a little confused by what the comment about DNA sets means on the paintbrush genes too!

The first set is the primary set. But bought genes will be attached to both sets. In the GMT lab you can modify one set or another and adjust how each set is inherited.
I think if you merged two horses that you can have two different sets of bought genes but I'm not sure. Haven't tried to merge anyone yet. If I understood it better, I would consider merging now as I have a boy with nacre and watercolor already and he would be the one I'd love to add paintbrush too and adding one would erase either the nacre or the watercolor. I also need hbs for it too though as I'm working some other projects right now.

If you look at your horse's page it tells you which is which. If you are buying from the RGS it does not matter as BOTH sets will get either the strand one or strand two added. (depending on what you picked)
