Papering and percentages
-
Does anyone remember the percentage range within each of the papering levels? I know perfect foundations are 100%. What percentage ranges are the rest of the papering levels? Does anyone know what the max is?ID 43830

C/yellow goes up to 100%
B/red goes from 101-109%
A/blue goes from 110-119%(?) I’m not sure the top end of A/blue has been officially established?
No clue what the top end of star/gold is either -
I'm working on a better benchmark system for my 3G mares because that mid blue range is a little muddy for me.
So far I have (from lowest to highest quality):
BlueRed Tester BlueHT2 2B (AGA a Red-papered mare, so the lowest possible Blue quality)
BlueLowBlue Tester Blue
(Superior to the Red-papered mare, AGA the previous Blue mare)
Blue2LowBlue Tester
(Superior to the Blue-Red tester mare, AGA the previous Blue mare)
HT1 3B SB2B 6055972
(Superior to the previous blue mare, but also worse than the following Blue mare who is AGA a *Gold papered mare)
BlueGold Tester Blue
(AGA a *Gold mare, so the highest possible Blue quality)
I'm trying to figure out the odd gap in the middle there with the horse that tests superior to the mid blue but worse than the low blue.ID 43830

It'd cost a pretty penny, but if you took an exceptional mare (105%) and gave her a 5% boost to Blue (110%), cloned her and gave the clone a 5% boost (still blue but 115%), that'd give you a known percentage to go off of. I've contemplated doing that to have a known % to comp test my 3g mares to, since i already have a blue papered foundation mare.#28036

I don't have the ability to clone since I'm only a basic upgrade, but I've spent so much money on comp testing the last few days that that would probably be cheaper lol
But I did finally find mares to fill in that mid blue range so now my comp testing mare levels look like this. Each level is AGA the level before it and SUP the level two horses down.
High Red
Low Blue
Blue 1
Blue 2
Blue 3 - My guess is this is right around 115%
Blue 4
Blue 5
High Blue
Low Gold
So right now I'm requiring my second gens to test superior to the high red (so their quality should be at least a Blue 2). My 3rd gen mares should test AGA a Blue 4 so their quality is at least a Blue 3 (I tried testing a small batch against a Blue 5 and only half of them were AGA so I'll do that when I'm ready to seriously cull). Then right now my 4th gens have to test AGA the high blue but once I give my 3rd gens some time to adjust to the cull I'll start having higher standards for them.ID 43830

Don't forget; You can buy a premium upgrade for one month, test/flush/get a reduced price on comparing, and then turn it off!
