Random Name Generator

When I try to rename horses with the random name generator I get this message for every horse
Please use "@*" not "@" for random word generation.
I have the premium upgrade and had successfully used it in the first couple days of when it was created. Now I can't get it to work. Am I doing something wrong? -
You have to type @* for a name to generate, not just @.
