My search is over! Thank you so much to all who offered their fantastic colts! This is truly a reflection of the wonderful HaJ community that so many people were willing to share their bloodlines and exceptional quality colts with another person!

As the title says, I am looking for a bootstrap prospect. My 3rd boy has outproduced himself and no longer is able to produce superior foals due to the quality of my mares being higher than him. I am having a devil of a time getting any quality colts that could at least test AGA to Zenith or or superior to Cassh That Bling and hoping that bringing some strong outside blood into the program will do the trick to improving the quality of mares.

I am willing to pay HANDSOMELY for theperfect boy.

Must have:
*Very strong bootstrap pedigree
*star papered
*PT at least 13.50
*AGA or SUP to sire and must test better than my BS boy being phased out. I will be happy to pay for the testing and can provide compensation for letting me comp test but will not accept any boys that tests AGA or worse than my BS boy.
*Younger is better- 2 or 3 would be great but will look at older boys with proven track record

Wishlist- nothing on this is a deal breaker but would be HUGE bonus and will reflect in the price I offer!
*cob/draft size
*satin
*silver
*champagne
*sooty plus
*AGA or SUP as my prized BS boy, KT Zenith (I'll pay MEGA bucks for a BS boy of this quality)

NO
*highly lethal white spotting (I have a very large % of w8 bootstrap so need genes that play nice with it)

I'm probably going to be very picky about the boy I pick as I am trying to produce a foal that is AGA or superior to Zenith before he ages out in a few months without having to resort to getting boosts.

This is the guy who I am retiring- he has produced some wonderful foals and his bloodlines are prevalent in my herd! All of my mares are just too strong for him now.

Noble Blizzard BS

This is my baby and the one I am hoping I can produce a successor to soon! A foal of similar quality to this guy would be soooooooo amazing and I will be paying BIG bucks for that quality (think 6-7 figures)

KT Zenith BS

A colt of this quality is what I am realistically looking for.

You're welcome to have a look in my barns, I have quite a few very high *Star boys I'm planning to sell, just not ones over 13.5 PT because I'm pretty sure I only have two. lol This guy would be good for you to test against what you have and see where the paper levels work out compared to my lines though, if you like.

He's AGA his sire, my high *Star boy IIX Gossiping Heimdall that Xceptional bred, but he's worse than my very top boy, the only colt I have bred so far to test superior to IIX Gossiping Heimdall.

BS S Gossiping Rogue

I have several colts who have tested AGA to both Gossiping Heimdall and his son, Gossiping Rogue, like this next one, so the two are very close even though Gossiping Rogue tested superior.

Matching Zenith will be a tall order, he's such a great guy.

@Justa, I have a prospect in mind but if he does not work out, I'll try out that handsome silver brown roan- he is soooo pretty to look at and I am loving those dapples!

@DreamyMeadows, I knooooow! I adore him to bits and pieces and will be absolutely crushed if I can't breed an AGA or SUP son by him by the time he ages out. Thank you for the good vibes!

@TheBlueMoors ... I looked and I don't see a silver brown roan boy in my bunch, which fits because I don't breed for roan. Lol Which colt is it you liked, do you remember? I have lots of pretty brown dappled boys in my boots, but none of the ones over 13 PT are roans.

@Justa- oops! I misread it- it was a brown dun, not a brown dun roan! Sorry for the panic I might have incited haha. I was referring to the colt- "Gossiping Dreams". He was the first one you had posted. I just was glancing over his stats last night and somewhere in my mind I thought roan and immediately attached it to him for some reason. Nope he is a lovely brown dun, no roan anywhere.

@TheBlueMoors No panic, just confusion. :)) He's yours if you want him to do some comparison testing with, see how he stacks up to what you want. My lines don't have super high PT, but I hardly ever find anything that tests superior that isn't boosted. I keep buying star colts and breeding to outside studs looking for my next outcross, but so far no luck. Lol

I'm glad that Noble has done well for you! I've had a hard time myself getting a superior colt out of that line! I guess I need to spend more time sorting out my mares!

I've got another colt out of that line if he is of any interest to you. I know he's a bit light for your dream boy and isn't exactly outside blood...

@RunFarAway- Noble has outdone himself and I am so pleased with his foals! Between Zenith and Noble, they have formed the core basis of my BS program and I was very honored to have such a wonderful start to bootstrapping because you sold me Noble. Thank you so much!

@Justa, thank you so much for the offer! The prospect I found actually ended up working out so I am not needing a colt at this point now.

My search is over- I have found a prospect who will be filling in some big hoof prints and hopefully forging his own legacy in my bootstrap herds. Thank you everyone who has reached out and offered up their colts and studs!

I suspect Zenith isn't far from the cap, which will make getting a superior son impossible without boosting, but should be able to get AGA! Hope you found a nice replacement!
