Best of Pasture foal gelded on BA... Please read
-
Im a tad confused. When I went to my email to find out who was best of pasture, it brought me to him below. He was gelded on regular BA.
So I started testing the rest of the foals in his pasture and alot have passed SBA.
Am I missing something?

Best in pasture means he was the best out of your foals but not necessarily better than his parents.#28036Thanked by 1Lallyhop

Yep, as Haltanny says, it's just comparing raw numbers - so his breeding ability was better than any of the other foals. However, BA/SBA compares foals to parents, not to other foals, so he was still worse than his parents breeding abilities by enough for it to snip him. Just means his parents are probably better than most of the other foals' parents ;)ID 45703 | he/himOpen barn policy - no closed lines!
