Well I finally have first hand experience with GMT mishaps. I was trying to add a second satin to this fella to make him hom, instead I took of his copy of satin. :-( Now I get to decide if it’s worth fixing my blunder or waiting for another colt. I also just gelded my other A papered 3g Nexus stud in preparation for using this guy and his “hom satin“. Ugg anybody else sharing my pain with mistakes?

Well, I guess the good news is it’s only 250k to fix this, versus the 10m to make a foundation hom! But gosh I’ve done that, I gender swapped a colt half a dozen times before I accidentally gelded him

I haven't done it with GMT, specifically, but I do now this pain in other areas of my life, heh. It sucks!

I would love some straws :) Is 5 ok?

@FallenShadows714 I wasn’t positive before his portrait rerolled today, Snowflake/llp aren’t something I breed for, so I don’t have a trained eye for it. He could also either be a KP carrier or hom KP, I’m not sure how to tell on a hom nexus besides using the GMT lab, and I forgot to look.

@HiddenGenetics that’s painful.
@CeffyIDwr all of my nexus stallions trace back to her at least once, and my mares trace back to her in later generations. Her son is my main stallion. :x
@BlueValley Lol well I’m glad I got it over with, but next time I’m going to do something else when I’m tied.

@summervine @BlaxkDiamond I’m just so thankful my primary barn was pretty much full so only had about 5 bootstraps in the barn 3 of which were stallions and I scrolled down to my mares selected all foals and went sba > breeding inspection when I seen 2 golds pop up I just started repeating no a whole lot got cut but now as important as next gen bootsrap foals with bling galore on them

Lol this is is indeed a rite of passage. I was jet lagged one time and planning on GMTing some colts to fillies. I GMTed them to filles but then a few brain farts later they ended up colts again....
