Hello. I just completed an achievement that the reward is 20,000 horsebucks and a 15 stall barn, but it didn't give me either. did I not do something right?

Hi Kakfer, and welcome! I just checked your account and it looks like you eventually got the bonus barn and cash. Sometimes it can take an hour or so, and sometimes you have to log all the way out of the game (use the log out link on the bottom of the left menu) then log back in, to get it to work.

Hi all!

I have to say, it was a godsend to find this game -- I tried playing another online horse game but it was just too much of a commitment between my job, hobbies, and life. This looks like it will be much easier to balance, looking forward to playing!

I'm a sucker for ponies and cobs, so that's what I'll be breeding. I'm really just trying to get my bearings, there's a lot of information to take in literally left and right! lol

Right now I'm most interested in figuring out how to interpret Performance Testing and Consistency.

Why did you join HAJ?
I saw it advertised on FB an I thought I would check it out. I find genetics very interesting.

I'm an avid crocheter with a passion for horses. I got my first horse for my 16th birthday. He was a red leopard Appaloosa. Soon after, I found myself the proud owner of a red roan flea bitten Arabian gelding. Oh, how I miss my boys! It's been many years but I still miss them. I can't have horses now (no room) so I'll pretend.

Oh, and this is my second account. I started out in Mesa.

Spent a lifetime owning and showing real horses, now retired and look forward to seeing if the same strategies that worked in real life will work with virtual equines. Look for dark warmbloods with Dragon-ish names. Game of Thrones fan here.

I have a quick question. So today I made todays specials herd helper and its PT score was about 3 and it's 4 years old so it was Leveled Off from the start, meaning from what I know its max level would be 1L, yet now it's 1R. Can someone pls explain?

As long as they level off in a decent place they can continue to move up, just very slowly. Leveling off does not mean they STOP training/learning.

If you have a link to the horse it would help a lot.

PiperHailStorm, your mare has never shown in a class other than as a foal. Those classes are not really indicative of how she will show as an adult. Foal/Yearlings do not train, so every class will just be a toss up between the 2 horses entered.

I would suggest putting her in a couple of classes and seeing where she lands, but her strength is as a breeding horse. She will make some good foals for you, so any points she gets from a show class is just a bonus.
