2gen brindle colt testing

    I have two questions on this guy.. if I tested him would he pass? Mom is red papered, dad is C, and he tested "about as good as sire". Secondly, is he het or homDP? I am thinking hom but I am not sure

    Okay 1. He is absolutely stunning *drool* 2. I think he could pass basic testing, but I'd wait for someone who knows better than me and 3. Wow, he's so so handsome and 4. That look hom dp to me

    You might be lucky and he passes BA, but he will not pass SBA since he is worse than his mom. He is Hom DP, since he looks black. What a handsome little guy!

    Side note- A full 5% boost will likely get him to be about the same test score as his mom, which should allow him to pass SBA.

    Thanks guys! I turned off testing on him for now so I don't accidentally geld him and if I get the money I'll think about boosting him! He was definitely a shock and surprise! How often do brindles happen? I went and look and somehow managed to get two this season. One from my pretzel twist mare and another from my pretzel twist stallion.

    Its pretty rare. I got one brindle this season, out of breeding over 700 mares. I usually get 0-3 per season and the chances of them passing any kind of testing are minimal. Although the brindle I got this season was a even 3rd gen brindle. He passed BA, but wont pass SBA. I was so so excited when I seen him come through as his dam was a surprise brindle too.

    Ya this season was the first I realized I got one on this account. Apparently I’ve had three total but the other two did not pass testing. I’ll have to keep a better eye out I guess! And @Ellesmere022 he is so cute! I love how the bats stripe his legs!
